XLX Transcode Hub Access

TriState DMR is excited to announce a link to XLX transcode hubs. We currently are testing a link from XLX313A to REF4540. XLX313A is connected to the constellation of DMR and DStar reflectors. For a fun QSO, give it a try. The audio sounds great.

DStar Portal Testing

TriState DMR is excited to announce we are testing a DStar portal to our network. Many hams over the last few years have been scattered between several talkgroups, reflectors, and digital technologies. Our goal is to create an opportunity to for DStar hams to join DMR hams in one place. Much of the time we will be connected to DStar REF051C, but we will be connecting to other reflectors for the Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Raspberry Pi nets! Sounds like fun, right?

Now More Ways to Connect!

Now you can access our network via Yaesu Fusion room --GREAT-LAKES-- (DTMF ID #40911) and Allstar Node #42060. We will be experimenting over the next month to determine the optimal configuration to encourage lively technical conversations and traffic on our system.

More Choices, More Fun!

DMR+ has arrived on TriState DMR Network! DMR+ is the original network that links Motorola and Hytera repeaters. It also supports dongle interfaces such as MMDVM/DVMEGA, DV4mini, and OpenSpot. DMR+ features access to over 200 worldwide reflectors. One of the most innovative offerings of DMR+ is hobby topic talkgroups such as HF/DX and Contesting, Digital Radio, Raspberry Pi/Arduino, Astronomy, Skywarn, Computer Programming, and Sports.

Spring Forward! The Future is here. We changed talkgrops on Sunday, March 5th. Get your CPS ready to reprogram your radios if you haven't by now. If you cannot reprogram your radios, please refrain from using the system until your radio has been updated with the latest talkgroup configurations. Please visit the Talkgroups section to learn more.

Sample codeplugs are in the Welcome Newbies section. Please do not blindly copy codeplugs. Read the website and try and understand what you are doing. It'll help answer many questions you have. You'll also be able to help others.
